Nobuyuki Idei

Mr. Idei is the Founder and CEO of Quantum Leaps Corporation, a Japanese advisory and investing institution promoting Japan’s global competitiveness. Previously, Mr. Idei was the Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Sony Corporation, as well as the outside director of General Motors, Nestle, Accenture, and Baidu. He is currently a director of Lenovo Group, Monex Group (Online security company listed in TSE), and Freebit (Network service company listed in TSE). Mr. Idei also serves as a Chairman of National Conference of Fostering Beautiful Forest.

Dr. Sati Sian

Dr. Sian most recently served as corporate SVP for Global Technology and Operations at IMS were he drove global operations transformation and led the scaling of the technology services business. Dr. Sian spent 25 years at IMS and also served as President, China and Global General Manager for the Commercial Information and VP, Consulting Services Division.

Dr. Henry Chen

Dr. Chen is the Chairman and CEO of Chinasoft International, a former GPC investee company. Prior to founding Chinasoft in 2000, founded ChinaSoft Cyber Resource Information Technology Ltd. Prior to that Dr. Chen served as the Deputy General Manager, Director and Senior Vice President of China National Software & Service Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Electronics Corporation.

Bessie Lee

Ms. Lee is the Founder and CEO of Withinlink, a China based technology-focused investment management consulting firm and incubator. Ms. Lee is also the CEO of the WPP Group, China. Prior to this, she served as the CEO of Group M China, where, under her leadership, the company’s media billings grew threefold. Ms. Lee is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Council on Women’s Empowerment.

Phil Scanlan

Australian Consul General to New York, 2009-2013, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a veteran of the YPO/WPO global entrepreneurial network. He is Chairman of LifeJourney International, founder of the NY Global Leaders Dialogue and founder of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue. His career includes leadership roles at Coca Cola Amatil and membership of the Business Council of Australia. He graduated from Sydney, Oxford and Harvard Universities. Mr. Scanlan first visited India in 1970.

Scott Kapnick

Mr. Kapnick is a Managing Partner and Member of the Board of Highbridge Capital Management, LLC, and the CEO of the Highbridge Principal Strategies Group. Highbridge is a global alternative investment management organization with total assets under management of $34bn. Previously Mr. Kapnick was a Management Committee Member, Partner, and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking at the Goldman Sachs Group and spent 12 out of his 21 years at the firm in Europe (London and Frankfurt).

Shai Agassi

Mr. Agassi is the Founder and CEO of Better Place, a company focusing on a green transportation infrastructure based on electric cars. He was formerly an executive board member of SAP AG. Mr Agassi was President of the Products and Technology Group (PTG) at SAP AG. Mr. Agassi is considered one of the foremost technology architects. He is also a successful entrepreneur having previously started several companies and sold one to SAP for US$400 million.

Adam Levinson

Mr. Levinson is a principal and the Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Drawbridge Global Macro Fund at Fortress Investment Group. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Levinson was a fund manager at Tudor Investment Corporation and a proprietary trader for 10 years at Goldman Sachs, moving between Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and New York managing portfolios of G10 and emerging market risk.

David Beever

Mr. Beever’s investment and corporate finance career spans over thirty years in leadership positions at 3i Group, SG Warburg & Co. Ltd., where he was Vice Chairman and Head of Banking and Finance, and KPMG, where he currently acts as Chairman of KPMG Corporate Finance. He is currently a director of several UK listed companies and has acted for numerous UK and international companies.

Mark Lotter

Mark has significant experience working in one of the leading global Big Pharma companies, including in China, and since has been a successful entrepreneur. He was the Chief Executive Officer of China Operations at SciClone Pharmaceuticals, Inc and before that he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of NovaMed Pharmaceuticals Inc.  Prior to that he served as Vice President, Commercial Operations of AstraZeneca China. He was responsible for turning AstraZeneca into the largest prescription based multinational in China.

Vijay Kelkar

Mr. Kelkar is an eminent Indian economist, government official and academic well-known for his role in India’s economic reforms. In 2011 he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian award. He has held several senior positions in the Government of India including Finance Secretary, Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council and Chairman of the Finance Commission which was responsible for recommending a new tax code for India. Mr. Kelkar also served as the Executive Director on the Board of the IMF for India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. He also serves as the Chairman of National Stock Exchange of India and on the Board of several companies including Tata Consultancy Services, India’s largest IT services company.

Rajiv Mathur

Mr. Mathur is the former Chief Information Commissioner of India serving as head of the Central Information Commission, an agency of the Government of India set up to ensure transparency. Previously, he was the Director of the Intelligence Bureau, India’s foremost internal intelligence agency and was instrumental in revamping the intelligence setup and raising the quality of information gathering and sharing. He started his career in 1972 in the Indian Police Service and served in various capacities in different parts of India earning the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Nitin Desai

Mr. Desai is an eminent Indian economist and international civil servant. He was Under-Secretary General of the United Nations responsible for Economic and Social Affairs from 1992-2003. Previously, he served in the Government of India in various capacities including as Chief Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister and a Member of the Planning Commission. He has served on numerous panels and boards including as Chairman of the Committee on Technical Innovation and Venture Capital, Co-Chair of the India-UK Roundtable and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Oxfam International.

Ajai Kumar

Mr. Kumar is a leading banking professional with 40 years of experience with some of India’s largest public sector banks. He was recently appointed Independent Director on the Board of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd by Govt. of India, Department of Atomic Energy . Previously, he was the Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank, a public sector bank with over US$30bn in deposits. Previously, he was an Executive Director at UCO Bank and prior that that, worked across a variety of roles at the Bank of Baroda, India’s second-largest lender. During his long career in banking, Mr. Kumar has undertaken many path-breaking initiatives especially around technology automation and in particular the implementation of internet and mobile banking in the sector.

Binod Bawri

Mr. Bawri is an eminent industrialist, philanthropist and intellectual. Mr. Bawri has been an entrepreneur for over 40 years and was, till recently, the Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Calcom Cement, the largest private sector enterprise in North-East India. He has made a significant impact in the education and non-profit sector, founding the Bawri Education Foundation, the Bawri Eye Hospital and the JDS school for underprivileged children. Mr. Bawri is active in policy circles – he is a Director of the India Foundation, a leading Indian think tank; and a member of the Atal Innovation Mission, a task force set up by the Indian government to foster innovation and R&D.
